St. Rita/St. Vincent de Paul
Neighborhood Food Pantry
Location: St. Rita Catholic Church
10029 NE Prescott St. (next to the Chevron station)
Behind the Church Building (back parking lot)
Who: Anyone in our area who needs food. We welcome everyone,
including those who are not currently housed. (We do not
discriminate on the basis of race, sexual orientation, religious tradition, citizenship status)
We serve our geographic area (NE 72nd to NE 122, NE Halsey to the river).
When: We are open Wednesdays from 3:00 – 5:00pm and
Saturdays from 10:00am to noon.
What: A wide variety of foods including fresh produce, bread, dairy, meat, pasta, cereal, beverages, canned and frozen foods, dog and cat food, and some hygiene items, depending on availability.
We gladly accept donations of non-perishable foods, gently used coats and blankets
(especially now that the weather is cold) and money.
If you would like to donate, please bring your donations to the parish office Monday-Thursday 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM; or you can bring it to church on Sunday and leave it in the big green barrel in the vestibule marked St. Vincent de Paul.
Items we need at this time are: rice, pasta, coffee, condiments, cookies, crackers and cat food..
